Miss Shake A Leg:

Miss Shake A Leg has found a wonderful home with Kimberly Gehring and her daughter, Emily, of Harker Heights, Texas (north of Austin). She will join Abi and Captain in equine bliss...with good pasture by day and big oversize stalls by night. She is to be bred back to the renowned Holsteiner stallion, Le Santo, in the spring...to produce another wonderful foal like our darling Longworth...and his half siblings, R Mercedes and Sambuca. It should be a beauty...with movement to match. Our thanks to Kim and Emily...and congrats to River.

A beautiful TB mare with a fine pedigree...including Northern Dancer, Native Dancer and Nearco bloodlines. "River" as she’s known in the barn is a very kind mare, but is from the same lineage as our lead mare…a pedigree that produces bold horses. River has produced 2 foals of race age, 1 money earner. Dam: Graded Stakes Earner $65,000…6 foals to race, 3 winners’, 1 stakes winner, S$116,000. Sire: Graded stakes winner. $67000. US Champion 2 year old. Ireland. Produced 145 winners, 25 stakes winners, $6,122,000. River is Jockey Club registered, plus she is PMB approved in the Holsteiner stud book. Although she is not sound for riding...she produces big, tall and beautiful babies, including a stunning 2004 colt (Longworth) by Le Santo, a 16.3 hh dark bay premier Holsteiner stallion, by Landgraf. (See Longworth in our Offspring section) River is a large mare with the conformation and look of a European warm blood and is now back in foal to Le Santo, for late April, 2005.
