Sales Policy:  It is our policy to offer a select few horses for sale each year.  We want them to go to the right person…the right home.  We will be happy to send sales videos but request that anyone wanting a video to please call us in person.  We would like to have the opportunity to speak with you and get to know you- We’d also like to have an idea of your needs and goals.  We feel this will potentially provide a better match for you and ultimately for our equine babies.

WINDSTARR –Premium Oldenburg (GOV)  colt, foaled 6/21/2003. Awarded Premium Foal by the German Oldenburg Verband.   Sire: Windfall, descends from two of the most sought after bloodlines in Europe.  Windfall’s sire, Weltmeyer was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden and in 1987 was winner of the stallion performance test and the Three year old Bundeschampion in Warendorf. In 1998 Weltmeyer became Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. By 2000 he has produced 70 licensed sons. The dam-sire line descends from Furioso II. He is the Selle Francais superstar that has become the hereditary transmitted producer of so many spectacular performance horses. Dam:  Image, by Ideal, who was bred in Oldenburg, Germany where he received Fullenpramie status. He is now recognized as one of the top improvement sires in North America…influencing his foals with enormous gaits, modern substance and elegance.  Windstarr’s dam, Image, received her Main Studbook approval by the German Oldenburg Verband in 2003. Wind was imprinted at birth, leads, picks up his feet, bathes, grooms, allows fly spray and trailer loads.  He is showing a beautiful curly trot and nice elastic walk.  Sweet temperament…loves people.  The GOV North American Breeding Director, Dr. Evelin Vollestedt, said of him at his inspection, “he is very harmonic.  This colt is a very nice mover, very uphill, with good elasticity and he’s very active from behind.  He showed a very good walk and we have awarded him premium.” Video or CD-ROM upon request.

WINTERSTAR:

Hanoverian/TB colt, foaled 5/20/2003.  Sire: Winterprinz  (Warkant x Weltmeyer x World Cup I).  Dam: B R Gem, TB mare approved Main Mare Book by multiple registries…recently earned an 8 on her trot.  She passes this huge scopey trot to her beautiful babies. This combined with the 9’s earned by his talented sire,  Winterprinz -- this little boy floats on air.  Win (Winnie) has an exquisite head, large expressive eyes and good body type.  He’s a wonderful combination of sire and dam.  He was imprinted at birth and is handled daily.  He began wearing a halter out to paddock when he was 2-days old, picks up his feet for his handlers and has already stood for the farrier for his first trim.  He bathes, gets spritzed with fly spray and has been trailer loaded with mom. Sire: Le Santo (Landgraf I   HOL x Ladykiller xx).  Dam: B R Gem is a Holsteiner Main Mare Book approved TB mare who earned an 8 on her trot at the same inspections.  She passes this extravagant scopey trot to her beautiful babies. Mercedes is a beautiful young filly with an exquisite head and body type…a perfect combination of dam and sire. Premium Holsteiner filly foaled June 2002.  Awarded Premium Foal at the 2002 inspections.  Sire: Le Santo (Landgraf I HOL x Ladykiller XX).  Dam: B R Gem is a Holsteiner Main Mare Book approved TB mare. She earned an impressive 8 on her trot at the inspections and she passes this movement to her offspring.  “Buca” was imprinted at birth and is handled daily.  She is currently being schooled in her ground manners, leads, bathes, loads, and picks up her feet.   Buca loves attention and shows lovely gaits with lots of beautiful suspension.  She’s fearless, bright and shows her sire’s brilliance at free play. 1995, Oldenburg mare. 16 hh,  Sire: Ideal x Dancer’s Triumph x Native Born/NativeDancer.  Her sire, Ideal, was bred in Oldenburg, Germany where he received Fullenpramie status.  He is now recognized as one of the top improvement sires in North America…influencing his foals with enormous gaits, modern substance and elegance.  As a proven improvement sire, he produces quality premium foals out of TB and warm blood mares.  In addition to lovely gaits, Image has inherited a wonderful quiet temperament.  She passed these traits on to her 2003 colt, Windstarr, by Windfall, the black stallion owned and currently being shown by Olympic horsewoman Charlotte Bredahl-Baker.  Image is approved in the Main Mare Book of the German Oldenburg Verband and throws beautiful, intelligent and very trainable babies.  We’re pleased to announce that this mare is confirmed back in foal to Windfall BC and is due to deliver June, 2005.  LFG

Third generation Secretariat mare…by Dominator x Bold Ruler x Nasrullah.  This beautiful and kind mare has impeccable bloodlines back to Nearco, the great Thoroughbred stallion considered by many to be the TB stallion of the millennium. In addition to her Jockey Club registration papers,” Latté” is also approved and registered in the Main Mare Book of the Oldenburg Verband of Germany.  She shows powerful forward movement and rhythmic gaits. Galalot produced an exquisite 2004 filly (Fairwind) by Frohwind, a 5-star Oldenburg stallion by Furioso II out of Windstille by Weltmeister. (See Fairwind in our Offspring section). Galalot is now in foal to Routinier (Rohdiamont x Inchallah/Zeus) the tremendously talented Oldenburg stallion who is currently in training and being shown by Olympian horseman, Steffen Peters in California.
